Hi, I’m Councillor Karen Cherrett and I represent the Rooksdown Ward. I am honoured to be selcted for a second term as your councillor. I will do whatever I can to represent the interest of all ward residents.
Rooksdown is developing rapidly and the resident population has grown by 25% in the past year. Whilst I welcome all our new residents, it is vitally important that we are able to develop as a single community not as many smaller groups. With one voice we have a better chance of securing the community facilities we need and creating a neighbourhood we can all be proud of.
I will use these web pages to update you on what is happening whenever I can but don't forget to check out the Community and Parish web pages too. The news page has some updates on the recent development activity and plans.
