Having now lived in Chineham for a quarter of a century (surely I cannot be that old), I have experienced its growth from ribbon development along the A33 into what is now a vigorous, mainly affluent, and - when it feels like it - opinionated community. I have lived in three different locations in Chineham and whilst it may not benefit from the aura of some Hampshire postcard villages, it does boast a number of attractive natural features like woodlands and a brook. It is a distinct community and deserving of committed but thoughtful representation. I do my best along these lines, but always welcome constructive criticism as well as an occasional bouquet.
