Hello and welcome to my Councillor web page. I am your Councillor for the Popley West Ward and have been since 2002, prior to when the new boundaries were formed in 2002. I was your Councillor for all of Popley first being elected in 1999.
I moved to Popley from across the road in Oakridge when I was 7 months old. I went to Merton Infants and on to Merton Juniors from 1975-1981. I then attended The Vyne School from 1981-1986 and then on to further education at BCOT. I moved to Winklebury in Aug 1997 but always think of Popley as my home.
On the council I serve on committees for Licensing, Environment Overview, Environment Policy Panel, Scrutiny and the Constitution Working Party.
Outside Bodies I am involved with are Popley Matters since May 97 which recently as a website Popleymatters.org.uk which I am the webmaster, Popley Forum since May 97, Popley Partnerships, John Hunt of Everest school governor since August 2004, Oakfern resident forum Sept. 2004 and Oakfern Board Dec 2004 the Oakfern Board has now been disbanded and I am now serving on Sentinel Board as a Tenant Rep,
Advice and information drop-in surgeries are on the first Saturday of the month in St Gabriels Church Hall from 1pm-2pm.
In my leisure time I am a keen follower of Ice hockey and I support the local teams Basingstoke Bison and Basingstoke Buffalo.
